Virtual Live Classes

How do I sign up for virtual classes?

You can hover your mouse over the “LIVE OFFERINGS” menu option at the top of the screen and register for any scheduled class. You can also skip that first step by simply clicking here.

I can’t wait to practice with you! As always, pay-what-you-can-when-you-can and honor the needs of your mind, body, and bank account.

And remember, if the live class schedule doesn’t work for you, there are class replays on YouTube!

Most live classes are hosted via Zoom. Mics and cameras are always optional, and when class starts, the teacher puts the screen in “Focus Mode” so class attendees can’t see each other. It’s just you and the host.

There are also weekly live classes on YouTube and TikTok. Many students enjoy these and send messages in the chat to connect. As always, you do you, Boo <3

No. There is a weekly recurring schedule for live classes and new live events pop up each week….BUT!

You can find many class replays (that are now in HD) reposted on YouTube.

In September we are launching an additional On-Demand Library full of a multitude of somatic classes in all types and lengths. Interested? Learn more here.

Absolutely not!

Each of us are invited to participate at our own comfort level. And know that will change as your needs and practice evolve. But never do we require or need you to use your camera or microphone during live classe if that doesn’t feel good. We move at the pace of the slowest part of our nervous system here, and that’s how we like it. You have permission to be the curator of your own experience. Our teachers trust your wisdom…even if you’re still learning.

One morning, you might wake up and decide, this is the day I turn my mic on and say “Hi!” Or maybe that day never comes. Both scenarios are equally valuable and you belong here.

Here is a Google review we received recently that sums it up pretty well:

“I attended my first class with All Bodies Yoga and it was AMAZING! Danaé is so nurturing and supportive and makes you feel so at ease with every pose. The class was really relaxing and I will definitely be doing more! If you’re looking for an inclusive yoga experience where you feel accepted and celebrated for who you are, check this out. You’ll leave feeling so good and more connected to your body.”

Here is a play by play of what it’s like to show up for a live Zoom class:

  • Danaé logs into class 5 minutes before it starts. If students click on the class link before the teacher arrives, Zoom will notify you and put you in a virtual solo waiting room until the virtual classroom opens for students. So no stress.
  • Students log in to live Zoom class at their own pace. Some log in early to chat or chill, others wait to log in until exactly class start time because their nervous systems don’t desire pre-class socializing. Do what you want!
  • Classes start on time (most of the time). Sometimes life happens and students need to arrive late or leave class early. AWESOME! No one will know. There is no chime or bell so you won’t interrupt anything by meeting your needs. Let the fear go and take the first step in showing up for YOU!
  • Once class begins, the teacher will put Zoom in “Focus Mode.” This changes our meeting so that students cannot see each other – only the teacher. This ensures a safe and private place for us to explore our healing without pressure or the fear of the observation of others.
  • Once our practice ends, the instructor will announce the end of Focus Mode and students will be welcome to socialize and ask questions. Some students turn their mics and cams on to hang out, or type in the chat. Some students bounce as soon as savasana ends. Either way, there is room for you to show up here in ways that make you feel comfortable.

I’m a firm believer that ANYTHING can be a yoga prop, if you let it. Its only the ego and imagination that get in the way.

So maybe you have a yoga mat, blanket, strap and blocks.

Maybe instead you have a rug, beach towel, dog leash, and books. Never let your ego keep you from your healing. Plus, the more you exercise your creativity and willingness, the more the world becomes your yoga equipment.

Oof. I’m so sorry that you had an unpleasant experience.

Each time you do the hard thing and speak up with compassionate accountability, we are all growing. Never let a wonderful learning and growth opportunity pass us by.

Please reach out to Danaé at danae@allbodiesyogastudio.com  and I’ll work with you, wholeheartedly, to make it right.

I’m delighted you enjoyed it! If you felt like your class was a wondeful gift and you want to give back, leave us a Google review! If you would like to financialy support the non-profit studio, consider becoming a member or making a donation.
