Why are 'all bodies yoga' classes free?

Late stage capitalism is a term used to describe the current state of our economic system, where the accumulation of wealth by a small minority has resulted in widespread social and economic inequality. The negative impacts of late stage capitalism are felt by many individuals and communities, particularly those who are marginalized due to their race, gender, sexuality, or ability.

One area where these inequalities are particularly evident is in healthcare and wellness. Many people struggle to access the resources they need to maintain their physical and mental health, and this is especially true for those who belong to historically marginalized communities. This is where All Bodies Yoga Studio comes in.

All Bodies Yoga Studio is a virtual, accessible yoga and somatics studio that is committed to ensuring that everyone can access healing practices, regardless of their financial situation. They offer free classes by donation, recognizing that accessibility is not just about physical ability but also financial accessibility. All bodies, of all shapes and abilities, are welcome at All Bodies Yoga Studio.

The studio invites those who are able to financially support their mission to become monthly supporters or to make one-time donations when they sign up for a class. By doing so, we are contributing to a more inclusive and accessible place of healing for all.

At All Bodies Yoga Studio, we recognize that true healing and wellness are not just about individual practices, but also about building collective systems of care and support. We are committed to creating a community where no one is left out, and where everyone has access to the resources they need to thrive.

As we continue to navigate the challenges of late stage capitalism, it is important to support and uplift organizations that are working to create a more equitable and just society. By coming together, we can build a world where everyone has access to the resources they need to live healthy, fulfilling lives.
